Ship Analytics International

Ship Analytics International have used Clarity to develop an expert monitoring system 'WISEcargo'. This system monitors a liquid cargo ship and detects potentially hazardous or illigal conditions. WISEcargo has two patents pending. See more on our WISE pages.

SE Validation

SE Validation has used the research services of Clarity-Support to explore the potential application of the Creative Intelligent System for their purposes in the area of software validation and verification. The exciting opportunities are currently explored in greater depth while prototype systems are in the make.

 

Portech Limited

For almost two decades Portsmouth Technology Consultants (Portech) has been developing climbing robots for industrial uses. They are designed to go where man cannot, to perform dangerous or difficult tasks. The Robug series are legged robot prototypes, until now only used for testing. An six legged robot has been designed that can move in any direction, climb walls and ceilings and which is lighter and faster than its predecessor and can carry a substantial load. Portech has been looking for real time systems and languages what would enable them to control the robot and/or model a navigation system. Clarity's expertise has been used to design a fully adaptive 3D navigation system that allowed the robot to navigate any thee dimensional environment including routing over walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
