The Belief System will allow you to construct different situations in which a group of Actors (Agents or Artificial Scientists/People) will attempt to discover the current true hypothesis.  They will do this by either choosing to experiment or talk to another Actor.  What experiments are available, who can talk to whom and the character of each Actor can be constricted as part of the situation.  This allows you to explore and compare possible behaviour patterns under a wide range of constraints and research philosophies.  The True Hypothesis can be changed at any time during the runs of the situation.
