The primary focus of Clarity support is to have a very active role in making new methods and techniques suitable for industrial applications.

To this end, Clarity collaborates with several universities including:

 

The University of Bath use Clarity to develop models of belief. The model shows how groups of scientists influence each other and how experiments are chosen by them to assess theories about the world.

 

The University of Portsmouth uses Clarity to teach second year students functional programming. It is also used in a number of research projects. See also Intelligent Systems Research Group.
